Kishanth is a self-taught filmmaker, creative storyteller and activist whose work focuses on human-centred storytelling exploring themes of identity, climate crisis, highlighting voices and reshaping narratives from POC communities.
He is deeply inspired and guided by his rich Tamil storytelling heritage, history and identity.
He has experience working on feature films, short films, documentaries and music videos and his work has been featured in major publications such as The Guardian, Esquire Magazine and more.
Kishanth recently worked as a shadow-director to Sasha Nathwani on his debut-feature film, Last Swim.
Kishanth held his first photography exhibition in the summer of 2019
‘This is Also Palestine’ - a sold-out event, which highlighted the importance of humanising the conflict in Palestine and to help change the narrative of this historic country.
He is extremely passionate about the power of storytelling to shape our experiences and to give meaning to our existence.
